All is fixed. Reds just signed Colin Moran. Actually I like Colin Moran a little bit. DH vs righties occasional off day for Votto. Decent ph. Should hit more hrs in gap, Pittsburgh takes a shot to get out in right.

I thought the Reds looked good last night. Mahle's pitch count was up because the umpire couldn't figure out the strike zone. Bell left Godley in too long. There is no way Naquin belongs in the outfield. He turned what should have been an out into a double. Didn't get charged with an error because he didn't touch the ball, but there is no way that it should have gotten over his head. Barrero better get himself back in the lineup. McClain and De La Cruz are pushing hard. I know there are a lot of naysayers, but this team looks pretty good at least for now.

Over a 162 game season, this team is going to be around the 60-70 win mark. Where things could get interesting is the young starting pitching staff to see if some of these prospect arms start developing to get some major league time in this year so we can have a positive outlook for next year going forward with a young talented group of starters, and then maybe start rebuilding some offense. I think trading Winker was a mistake, but he is injured a ton, and is league average in LF at the best. Suarez was a money dump. Grey hurt but tons of young guys knocking on the door. I guess my thought is, we are going to blow @ss this year, but hopefully it is not for nothing. I want to see the young starters get some late season experience to be the horses going forward next year. Greene Lodolo Ashcraft Williamson Still have Castillo and Mahle. But outside them, do we give a crap? Senzel and India are good foundation pieces, but I would like it more if they would just get to moving Senzel back to 3B and end this outfield bullsh1t.

Forget 162 games. The Reds open with 4 games against the WC Braves on the road. then go to LA to face the second best team in the National league in a four game season. They also play 6 against the Padres, and three against the Cardinals. This with their best pitcher and closer on the disabled list. If they are over .500 in April then watch out.
