What sacrifices are you willing to make for a couple pitchers that will toss 25-30 innings from the bullpen for the remainder of the season. If we do we need to acquire guys with a few years of control.

Every team needs pitching help right now. So whatever the Reds want is going to be expensive. The biggest chip the Reds have to play is Castellanos, and trading him might be a good idea. He has a player's option for next year and his agent is Boras. He will be asking for a huge increase in salary. If the Reds can get some valuble pitching for him they should trade him now rather than lose him in free agency..

It is too late for the Reds to acquire relief pitching help. They are toast. The bullpen completely sucks and you would have to replace everyone with Forker Garrett going first. Thank you again Garrett for blowing another game for us. He can’t even get one guy out.
