Recently one of the Astros pitchers ( I think Lance Mcklusky) Complain about the speed up rules limiting visits to the mound because of sign stealing. Why doesn't baseball just go high tec, Imean why not use a smart phone and send the signs that way instead of the way it is done now? The signs come from the bench anyway. a special booth could be set up in the dugout for just that purpose. That way everyone can forget about the lip readers and other sleuths on the diamond

For me, technology introduced into the between-the-lines game itself can't, and doesn't, improve the quality of the competition or product.

That way everyone can forget about the lip readers and other sleuths on the diamond Cause then you just find some jackass that figures out how to hack the technology in some way, and then a huge scandal happens, the integrity of the game is lessened even more. What you do is put several body sensors on the pitcher and catcher that vibrates, and depending on which vibration occurs, they know what to do. Pulse is sent from the bench coach or pitching coach. HA I say get rid of the umpires too and let it all be called by computer so it is more accurate, no human error. Then you put in a salary cap and league revenue sharing program making all teams equal within a league that makes all teams money. With the rest of the league, the Yankees and Dodgers can't make what they do. Just because they are in a crazy big market doesn't mean they can make money without the rest of the league to competition. Expand playoffs to 12 teams, 6 from each conference. Then you have officially fixed baseball for me.
