I am the only Reds pitcher to strike out 200 batters in my rookie campaign, but I did not win the rookie of the year award.
The pitcher who did win joined the Reds the very same day I left the Reds.
Who am I?

Edison Volquez. He got ROY votes in 2008 and struck out more then 200....though he wasn't eligible for the award.
Gary Nolan though is the answer you are after. With Seaver being the guy who won the award.

As always, spot on, schellis.
Gary Nolan finished third in the 1967 ROY voting to Tom Seaver.
