3 for 3 so far for billings in first game with two hr! What a great signing kid is legit I was gonna make a post along these lines. $735,000 bonus, largest of any domestic non-drafted player (ever). Apparently it does count against the slot pool, so we must think pretty highly of him. He's justifying it so far. Now that I think about it, because he was signed after the deadline, pretty much no team had any money to give him, and you can only go 5% over without losing a pick (we went the max allowable). I think there's a chance he would have gotten 1 million had teams been saving money knowing he was eligible. This was a steal

2/3 with two doubles and a walk yesterday. Has a 3.042 OPS through 8 plate appearances. I don't believe it.

Friedl is now hitting .550 through 5 games in Billings. He's wasting his time down there. How many games does Dayton have left? Even if it is only 3 weeks, move him there. He's getting nothing out of this.
Move Scott Moss up as well. Both these guys need reps, but it should be against better comp. Dayton is deplorably bad, so unless your name is Stephenson, Senzel (who should finish the season in Daytona), or Okey, you are not likely in the Reds' future plans anyway.
