For free WITH a paid subscription, I believe. If you can show me where I can get MLBtv for free I'd really appreciate it... My fault, i had called mlbtv and asked about it, the guy I talked to the first time didn't clarify that I had to by the full package, he simply said it was free for ST games. I just called back and asked for clarification and the girl I talked to said you do indeed have to buy the package. I am still thinking about getting it, I am really tire of getting ripped off by cable/satellite companies. If only espn would put out an app for tv the way the mlb has...... If you only want spring training games you could pay the $19.99/month for MLB.tv (or $24.99 to avoid using a web browser) for one month, rather than the $109.99 full season package... if I cared enough I'd pay $20 for this month of spring baseball. The full package is a waste of money for someone like me, who lives in Cincinnati and therefore has all the games I want to see blocked out, but an excellent alternative to cable/satellite for an out-of-area Reds fan, or fans of other teams.

You know what? What the heck, I'll get a one month subscription (for spring training) when I get home. $25 isn't bad. Then I don't need to worry about seeing the games during broadcast hours, or never seeing ones that aren't broadcast locally. Plus I can fast forward through stuff I don't care about. Like Jason Marquis.
...although I guess only 14 Reds games will be on MLB.tv...

Joey Votto to Miss Start of Reds' Cactus League Games C. Trent Rosecrans, Enquirer, 3/2/2015
GOODYEAR, Ariz. — The Reds will start their 2015 Cactus League season without Joey Votto in the starting lineup.
Newcomer Josh Satin will start at first base, hitting ninth, instead of Votto, who missed 100 games a year ago with a knee injury. Votto is not up to "game speed" yet, Reds manager Bryan Price said on Monday.
Votto said after Monday's workout that he's feeling good and expects to be in the lineup soon.
"I feel really, really good. I'm surprised at how good I feel this early," Votto said. "I feel like I'm trending toward being able to play games here in the not too distant future. I do feel like I need a little more time, but the time is not a byproduct of avoiding games or not being ready when I need to be ready. It's just to make sure that after taking eight months, 10 months, however long off of baseball, I have to play the game a little bit more to get ready to get the volume in and get the reps it."
Price said Votto hasn't participated in all of the team's field drills, but doesn't expect the star first baseman to miss any significant time. There has been no decision yet on when Votto will begin playing in exhibition games, Price said.
"Those little things, I'm starting to get to the point where those, I'll be able to join in on and really be a part of nearly everything," Votto said.
The Reds start the Cactus League season on Tuesday with the first of three games against Cleveland in three days at Goodyear Ballpark. We already knew Jason Marquis will be on the mound for the Reds, but the rest of the lineup was posted on Monday.
Here's the lineup (with backups in parenthesis) for Monday's game at 1:05 p.m.:
1. Billy Hamilton CF (Skip Schumaker)
2. Brandon Phillips 2B (Irving Falu)
3. Todd Frazier 3B (Kristopher Negron)
4. Devin Mesoraco C (Kyle Skipworth)
5. Marlon Byrd LF (Jesse Winker)
6. Jay Bruce RF (Brennan Boesch)
7. Zack Cozart SS (Eugenio Suarez)
8. Donald Lutz DH (Kyle Waldrop)
9. Josh Satin 1B (Chris Dominguez)
Reds manager Bryan Price said Sunday that his lineups in spring won't necessarily reflect the regular-season lineup as he tries to ease his regulars into spring play.
"The thing about spring training, of course, is I don't want to have our lineup together every day," Price said Sunday. "Because we're probably going to the neighborhood of every other day and then two out of three as far as getting theses guys ready."
Marquis will start Tuesday's game and is scheduled to be followed by Keyvius Sampson, J.J. Hoover, Nate Adcock, Pedro Villarreal, Daniel Corcino and Matt Magill.
Tuesday's game against the Indians will not be televised by FoxSports Ohio, but the games on Wednesday and Thursday will be shown live by FoxSports Ohio.

Not sure if it would solve what you are looking for but try looking into SlingTV. Streams ESPN and ESPN2 (among other channels) for $20 a month. I think the product is owned/operated by Dish but is 100% streaming based. I'll be looking more heavily into it as an option once my commitment with DirecTV is up. Only downfall is I will still be blacked out of Reds games. I won't be able to watch live today due to work but hoping to catch a few innings later tonight on MLB.TV.

The big question today with Jason Marquis is how his velocity is - still down, back up? - but I suspect I can find an answer without watching his start.
If his velocity isn't back up high enough for him to be successful I hope he's in the first round of cuts.

I was angry when watching the MLBNetwork delayed broadcast - twice (in the short time I was watching) they announced that they were skipping a half inning for 'time constraints'... in both cases they skipped over Winker and Waldrop.
At least I got to see Suarez and Boesch for the first time.
In my opinion so far Chris Dominguez is the most overly displayed player this spring. I keep seeing photos from spring training on Twitter, short videos of BP with some random batter facing some far more notable pitcher... and Dominguez always seems to be RIGHT THERE. Either participating or standing next to it. Then today he kept getting shown playing 1b, in the short segment of the broadcast I saw. Also they skipped others guys' ABs for 'time constraints', but not his. That's not to say that it's Dominguez's fault or that he's done something wrong, it just seems like I keep seeing him in everything out of Reds spring training camp. Meanwhile I don't think I've ever (besides a portrait on their player page) seen Boesch, Suarez, Adcock, Magill, or others before today's game. I was surprised to see how skinny Boesch was, I assumed he was a big muscular guy.

The only note I have of the game is that of Eugenio Suarez's batting stance, the way he holds the bat is indicative of something every little league coach in America would teach your child not too do....definitely not indicative of future power - though it could aid him in being a slap contact hitter. I hope it works for him.

Spring Training Game 2 Lineup:
1. Hamilton, CF 2. Schumaker, LF 3. Frazier, 3b 4. Dominguez, 1b (really, like EVERY time I get a chance to see something Reds-related this spring he's front and center) 5. Boesch, RF 6. Pena, DH 7. Cozart, SS 8. Negron, 2b 9. Barnhart, C
Pitchers: Anthony DeSclafani Jumbo Diaz Kevin Gregg Raciel Iglesias Sam LeCure Mike Lorenzen
Looks like a good opportunity to see a bunch of guys I haven't really seen before. Gregg I've only seen with other teams. I'm especially excited to see Iglesias' debut, plus DeSclafani and Lorenzen's. I haven't (yet) seen a list of alternate position players, like they posted before yesterday's game. Maybe Satin, LaMarre, and Perez will get few innings, even if guys like Winker and Waldrop don't.
Fortunately the weather in Cincinnati is cooperating today - an incoming snow storm gives good reason to leave work hours before the start of the Reds game.
