First of all, his performance in the July 19th and 20th games: 6/10, 4 homers (in two games!), 1 double, 1 SB, 1 BB, 10 RBI (not a very meaningful stat, but still!), 1 SO, .600/.636/1.900/2.536 in one glorious two game stretch. For the season: .303/.345/.614/.959 in Billings, 9 home runs in 32 games! Baseball America had him as a pretty big prospect, I believe ranked 24 for the Reds, pretty good given how low a level he was playing. Is he a top 10 prospect next year?

Never heard of him, before you compelled me to search for him online. He's a 20 year old RF in his second year of rookie ball, eh. Promising season numbers, but as you said he had 4 homeruns and 10 RBIs... a good chunk of his full seasons' production, in a 2 game period.
I assume he'll go to Single A Dayton next year, but I doubt he'll get moved very far up the list of Reds prospects. I doubt he'll crack the top 20. How excited should you be about him? Not very, in my opinion. This is his first remotely promising year in his 3 year professional career, and he has yet to advance beyond rookie ball.

He's a prospect. He was before this season. I'd say if he finishes up strong he could be a fringe top 10 prospect in the system. Good raw power, above average speed, strong arm, solid defender in RF. The three big questions are how well does the raw power transition to in game power, how good is the hit tool (he's got a nice athletic swing), and how his plate discipline develops. The in game power is showing up more this year (granted the Pioneer league is very hitter friendly, but he leads the league in HR, and is tied for second in doubles), the hit tool is promising (.300+ so far this year) but I won't count any chickens there until he does it in full season ball, and the plate discipline is improved over last year but still has a ways to go. Like I said, a fringe top 10 prospect in the Reds system, lots of upside.

In no particular order: Stephenson, Ervin, Winker, Lorenzen, Travieso, Lively, Howard, Blandino, Sparks, Garrett, Moscot, Constante, Elizalde, YRod (BA loves him for some reason), Holmberg, Barnhart (if eligible), Contreras (if eligible), Romano, Langfield, Armstrong, LaValley, Strahan, Stephens, Iglesias, Siri, etc... could all be ahead of him.

Rookie league stats are always open to interpretation but I think it is time to recognize that Aquino is putting together a really special season. Whether it translates to A-ball and beyond will remain to be seen. He hit is league leading 13th homer last night and is carrying a team best .313 average. It was pointed out that this is his 3rd year playing professionally but it should also be noted that he started playing when he was 17. The fact that the Reds stuck with him and have him at Billings this year must mean they saw something promising in him.

He has 30 extra base hits in 179 at bats and while it still needs work, his walk rate is trending in the right direction from year to year. Aquino is still just 20 years old, so he certainly isn't old for rookie ball, and he'll be 21 in full season ball next year. Not to mention at 6'4", he still has some room to fill out and add power. He's listed at 190 pounds right now, but I'm not sure if that is accurate or not.
