Why was I removed as manager of my team. A team I was looking forward to working with again for the 3rd year? Can someone explain why I am no longer the manager of The Diamond Cutters. That's all I am asking for is an explanation I believe that's fair.

I believe it has to do with inactivity and failure to respond to multiple attempts to get you to make your draft pick.

I believe it has to do with inactivity and failure to respond to multiple attempts to get you to make your draft pick. I have no e-mails that these attempts were made. The only e-mail and it's one I just found was the E-mail sent to everyone that the draft was underway. The BotB Fantasy Baseball: Draft Note. If all the attempts were made here then of course I wouldn't have seen them, I don't participate here except for the league.

Honestly, this happened to me two years ago. I forgot that the emails were going to the yahoo account I only set up to play fantasy baseball. So I feel for ya.
I would probably be OK with you having your team back due to the rationality of that team is still 90% yours since there has only been one pick made by the new owner.
However, the new owner didn't do anything wrong, and you DID have that email telling you when the draft had started. So the fault is on you.

My apologies, JMT, but we didn't really see another option. You hadn't logged into your team since February 13, there was ample notice given about the keeper lock-in date and the draft start time. When you didn't show up for the start of the draft, e-mails were sent and post made to the main board here.
The draft started and you were on the clock all day Saturday. After your time expired, other teams began to make their picks. In fact, the entire first round elapsed with no sign of you. At that point, with seemingly no way to get a hold of you, we had to replace you.
As OldSchool mentioned, this happened to him two years ago. And, I hated doing it then, too. But, since that happened, I've tried to make it very clear that teams have to be active, check their e-mail, and take responsibility for knowing the deadlines and events of the league. It's just not possible for me to track down owners who aren't active. There are just too many screen-names, e-mail addresses, and message board possibilities for me to exhaust them all. I did the best I could to contact you, but never heard back and simply couldn't wait any longer.
My apologies. If you want back into the league in the future, then let know when next season rolls around.
