Well, the first half is set in stone and the Reds currently sit 1 game behind the Bucs (!). Meanwhile, in St. Louis, the Cardinals sit 2.5 games out of first.
Areas that need to be addressed (some of which are intertwined):
-Top of the order production -Scott Rolen v. Todd Frazier -Center Field

Probably more of the same on offense, but the pitching is locked in now in a way that it wasn't early in the season...

Fix the offense
1. Convince Rolen he needs some sort of season ending surgury 2. Trade for Denard Span to leadoff, set up a 3 man rotation of Stubbs/Heisey/Ludwick with Span playing CF when Ludwick plays 3. Start playing Mesoraco 3 of every 5 games

Either figure out a way for all five guys in the rotation to continue to stay healthy all year or trade for someone who's better than Tomko and send Leake down until an injury happens. Also trade Alfredo Simon for Juan Pierre and have a Pierre/Stubbs platoon in center.

A Pierre for Simon trade is actually very plausible IMO. If Jocketty doesn't want to deplete his farm anymore than he already has, a RHRP'er is the most logical trade chip for them (even more so if Masset ever comes back).
If the Reds don't make a trade for a potential leadoff hitter I fully expect to see BP move back into that role shortly...with either Cozart or Stubbs dropped in the order. Ludwick will likely then move to cleanup.
I expect them to continue their up and down ways but still finish around their current projected 90 wins or so. That of course is barring continued good health.
It looks as if there will only be about 8 teams selling by the non-waiver trade deadline - that means anything worth a damn from those 8 teams will demand an overpay. Primo talent will especially demand top return since whoever currently has them will be losing draft compensation (it'll be interesting to see if anyone is willing to give it - there is a strong chance that they aren't and players like Hamels, Greinke, etc.. stay with their clubs all year).

I'm sticking with the thinking that improving the clean up spot improves more than just one spot in the lineup overall.
If we could get Brandon out of the 4 hole, he can go back to leading off (he's probably the only guy really comfortable at leading off), or he can slide in front of Votto in the 2 hole (if he could cut down on his GIDP and make pitchers pitch to Votto with runners on).
Getting Brandon up in the order means either Cozart goes to the cushy 2 spot and maybe recaptures some of his streak from earlier in the season, or it slides Stubbs down to 6 or 7 or 8 in the order so he's not got so much pressure to get on base and gets back to driving in runs.
As for Mesoraco getting 3 starts of every 5, I don't think Dusty is going to juggle the pitcher-catcher tandems until the offseason. Latos has improved since Ryan started catching him and Arroyo won't move off him either. And when it comes Cueto (the ace) I don't think you tinker with it either (unless he says it's cool to switch catchers on him).
I do think Rolen needs to take a backseat to Frazier at 3b. If Rolen hits the cover off the ball vs certain starters, sure throw him out there, but Frazier should be getting the lion's share of at-bats in the 2nd half.

If Pierre could be acquired for a spare part from the bullpen, that's a very good deal for us. Seems too good to be feasible, but who knows? I still think major trade goodies like Span will be too expensive, although I'd be more inclined to make a deal for help now. It's impressive that the Reds rallied from Thursday's debacle to manage a winning road trip, giving up only 29 runs total in the 11 games...

I like the Simon for Pierre deal. Why not sweeten the package. Ship Stubbs also along with Rolen.
Rolen can go back to where he began his major league career. Call up Rodriguez and let him back-up Frazier, He is also your left hand bat off the bench. I guess you call up Hoover for Simon

I had been under the impression that the Phillies starting outfield was Pence, Victorino, and a Nix/Mayberry platoon in left. I had no idea that Pierre was actually starting regularly. My idea about the starting pitcher had to do mainly with the fact that injuries to pitchers happen and we've been lucky with the rotation, and if the luck continues, Leake might be able to miss being a super two, and fewer players will have to be traded away or non-tendered after the season is over.

Unless Frazier breaks his leg there is no reason to call him up.

Mesoraco probably is the future, but he hasn't been that great this year. And Hanigan is having a very good year.

He has been more productive than Hanigan at the plate in much fewer AB. Hanigan's "very good" year is grossly overrated on here. .280 and little to no power from a catcher. Meso will never get the hang of hitting up here until he can string some games together.
