Proposal for BOTB 2012 on trades, streaming, roster size, and daily line-ups. Trades. For a trade to be vetoed, it would require unanimous vote from the 3 commissioners. For a trade between 2 commissioners to be vetoed, it will go to league vote and would require 2/3 votes from the managers, it is 12 votes against the trade. Streaming. A SP/P or RP (who in real life become a starter) added in a week can't be dropped until the next week unless he had such an awful start that cost the team points (-). Roster size. Roster will be set at 25 (bench will be reduced). Daily line-ups. All active slots must be filled with active players on a daily basis.
Any objection should be supported by logic reasoning and will need a league vote. If there's agreement here, the rules will be updated accordingly.

I'm not voting because I am not officially back in yet, but that Streaming rule is going to be rough on some teams haha.

Please, follow the instructions (including poll question). Since each voter has to make 3 votes and it's been 4 voters so far, it should be 12 votes instead of 11. One voter missed a vote. You can go back. Thanks.

I made 2 votes instead of 3 as there was no third one that I agreed with.

I like the new changes, especially on streaming.
The only thing I disagree with is the trade policy. I'd prefer that for a trade to be vetoed, it should be a 2 out of 3 vote between the three of you instead of unanimous. Last year it only required one vote of the one commissioner, and I don't believe any trades were actually vetoed. By that logic, it would seem to appear that the odds of a trade being vetoed has actually DECREASED from last season, since ALL three of you will have to agree on it. Maybe it was designed that way, I don't know. But I've already touched on how I thought there were too many lopsided trades last season, so I won't beat that horse again. But again, I'd prefer 2 out of 3 vote, but that's just my $.02.
Other than that, I like the changes.

VT that is a good idea 2 out of 3 votes from us should do the job we will talk that over.

I made 2 votes instead of 3 as there was no third one that I agreed with. On all three issues (1-3/4-6/7-8), there's the option to stay as we are, you should make that final vote, please. As for the vt suggestion, sure, we can give it a 2nd thought.

As we all know, there is more of a chance of the great wall of china falling than Lark vetoing a trade, so 2 out 3 seems suffice.

Five teams not voting yet, it would be better for all to get this done before the draft.

I want the draft to start this week so if the remaining 5 teams do not vote in the next 2 days then their vote will be skipped.
This is crazy, everyone has been on here and posted but if your not taking the time to vote then you dont care about what goes on.
again the rosters are 25 man. one change that was approved by all three of us is one P spot will be changed to a RP, and you will have 4 DL positions available.
here are the roster spots
C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, IF, LF, CF, RF, OF, Util, SP, SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, RP, RP, RP, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL, DL, DL
one other change that will happen for sure is for hitters, 1 point will be awarded for singles. and as of right now that is it. We are debating on a couple others, and once we get a majority vote we will either change them or not.
as far as snappers poll that will also help us decide on what other changes are to be made.

also Dirty Reds your keeper list is at 16 because Yahoo does not recognize Kyle Gibson as a player this year, and neither does espn, or cbssports.
