So far so good guys the board is really taking off and will only get better with more memebers ! I again want to ask everyone who reads this to go out and email people the link to this site. Once the season starts espn will take off like always and we could use that to are advantage. By using espn email you can click the users name and email them this site link. We need to grow as much as possible. So please go out there and invite as many people as possible. If you like the board let others know about it ! My goal is 100 memebers by June 1st ! We are already up to 29 !!!!!

Lark gets all the credit as he started the board. We talked about ti last year me and him and he went ahead and set it up. I am just a recruiter so to speak now and I think I am doing ok as we now have 30 members ! Come o folks get out there and get more members!!!!
Remeber the goal 100 members by June 1st that should assure the boards survival.

I've sent a couple messages to people I know to be good posters on a football board I frequent who are Reds fans. Haven't heard back from them yet though.

Thats great Duke !
Once the season starts the ESPN board will take off and we will have more people to invite. Redlurker would be a great choice but he has not been on in awhile. I am hoping once the season starts he coems around aand I will ask him.
Everyone feel free to do the same thing Duke did, we need all the help we can get. The board has already started off well as we have solid posters in here but we need the traffic to pick up once the season starts.

Oh I have no doubt that we will have 100 by then. This is a good board with a good foundation. I've told a couple friends about it and I expect a few of them to come over once the season starts. Love the board though.

Probably the first women, at least the first I've noticed. Welcome! This board will do well because its very user friendly and real fans are easy to spot with a smaller community. I'd much rather have a small board with great members than a big board with lousy fans.

Well looks like we are getting the word out...38 members now !
I have emailed so many people I and left threads about the board all over so I hope we can keep this up. The season has not even started so this is great.
Remember the goal is 100 by June......After that I think we should be able to stop recruiting people as we will have enough traffic by then. To be honest I think 60-70 might be enough but 100 just seems so legit ...lol

It is your decison but I dont think posting the link on ESPN was a good idea. One Kramerite already made his dumb statement and I am sure more will follow.
Plus I dont want to see this board get ruined by them coming over to it once they get no attention on ESPN.
I know Lark and you have the power to ban people but I am not sure that is a can of worms you want to open.
Hope it turns out ok

Well we do have power to ban and delete threads and post but I also agree it was not a good move. it was a bush league type move As soon as I did it I knew it was stupid. I will email people direct from now on.
Everyone else feel free to do the same remember 100 by june 1st !
