What I liked: -Volquez with yet another strong start against one of the better lineups in MLB (albeit utley didn't play) -Patterson on base twice in 5 PA -Kepp continues to rake -Bray, Weathers, and Coffey combinging for 3 IP, 0 runs, 0 hits, 1 BB, 4 K's. -The run producing spots producing runs -10 K's in 9 IP for our staff
What I didn't like: -Cordero getting touched for a couple runs and a 4.50 ERA in ST -LOTS of men left on base (16, albeit 4 of those were Volquez) -Valentin defensivly -Votto getting thrown out at home

Volquez is really stepping up and is hungry for a spot in our major league rotation. Can't wait to see him pitch with the Reds this season.
Cordero thrives under pressure so ST games probably aren't a good measure of his skills.

Kepp is the man no doubt about it, he can hit and needs to play everyday where ever that is.

I agree Kepp is the perfect number 2 hitter. He doesnt K and he makes contact with the ball.
I think we do need to move Alex Gonzolez so that Kepp can have the job. I have no problem with A-Gon but I just prefer Kepp.
Who is looking for SS help? Would teams looking for 2B help consider moving him? How about the Cubs? I know it is within the divison but if we get enough in return would it be worth it?
