Edwin Encarnacion and Paul Bako hit back-to-back HR off Eric Gagne in the 10th inning of yesterday's 4-3 win vs Mil...it was only the second time in the last 11 seasons that a Major League team hit consecutive home runs in extra innings at home...Cin also was the previous team to do it, on 8/20/01 vs StL by Todd Walker and Kelly Stinnett off Andy Benes in the 10th inning...the Reds would win that game, 5-4, in the 11th on Ken Griffey Jr.'s inside-the-park walkoff HR off Benes (courtesy Elias Sports Bureau).

Holy crap! I remember that game! Edmonds misplayed the ball badly and it bounced off the wall back toward home, away from every outfielder. Jr actually hustled...lol

I was at that game with my sister, brother-in-law and my nephew (3 at the time). poor little guy lasted till the 9th inning and we left the stadium. as we were walking out we heard the fireworks for the first two homeruns. my sister looked at me and her husband, shrugged her shoulders, and said "sorry". we were in the car listening when jr. hit the inside the park HR. what a great comback and game....too bad i missed it all.

Happens every time. I almost left that Indians game where Dunn his a walk off slam a few years ago. I was glad I didn't.

They just had the Joe Nuxhall call of that inside the parker yesterday on WLW. It was definitely one of Joe's better performances.
