Lineup i'd like to see today against the lefty.
1. Hopper, LF 2. Keppinger, SS 3. Griffey, RF 4. Phillips, 2B 5. Patterson, CF 6. EE, 3B 7. Votto, 1B 8. Bako, C 9. Volquez, P
Give the Donkey a day off against the LHP and get Hopper's speed at the top of the order and CPatt into a run producing spot.

Here is your lineup tonight!
Norris Hopper CF Jeff Keppinger SS Ken Griffey Jr. RF Brandon Phillips 2B Adam Dunn LF Edwin Encarnacion 3B Joey Votto 1B Paul Bako C Edinson Volquez P
Hopper is hitting .455 off LH Paul Maholm, the Pittsburgh starter. "Sometimes, we go with matchups," Dusty Baker said. "Sometimes, we go how a guy's going."
The rotation will be as speculated upon post off day: Aaron Harang Tuesday, Josh Fogg Wednesday, Edison Volquez Thursday v. the Cubs in Wrigley. Johnny Cueto, Bronson Arroyo and Harang v. the Brewers at home.
Nice to see Hopper getting a start!

Is Cueto really pitching on Friday and Arroyo on Saturday of next week? If so, that sucks because I've got tickets on Saturday and was really hoping to see Johnny...lol
I figured with the rotation this week that Arroyo would go on Friday and then Cueto on Saturday...guess I'm wrong.

Wow, beautiful park the Pirates have there. I like the river view at Great American, but it'd be a lot better if you could see the Cincy skyline as well, like at PNC.

So, we finally get the 2008 debut of Hoppinger, one of 2007's best success stories. I'm sure Maholm won't pitch as bad as last year so the Reds better not get too impressed with their own numbers against him. My pick to click is BP. Dunn will be a factor too.

A strong start from Voltron would be nice to see again. The bats need to keep up the momentum, especially EE.

You totally threw me off at first with the Hoppinger bit. lol nice, I like it.

the bucs are not throwing out a very strong line up. jack wilson is hurt and the 2 real threats are only sanchez and bay. Hopefully Volquez has his way with these hitters as its their first time seeing him in real action. Having said that i probably jinxed the poor guy but im really looking forward to todays game. lets hope if the reds are serious this season about competing they take care of the teams they should beat instead of playing down to their level. play your game boys

Hopp should have been running on every pitch during Kepps AB.

It'd be nice to see the Reds string together a couple of hits. Maholm is solid, but we should be able to handle him.

it will be key to put runs on the board early because the cold front is moving through causing showers and storms in Pittsburgh..game could be rain shortened
Volquez is looking good so far..if he can keep his fastball down and work that changeup he could put together a very solid outing

It certainly helps when they give up outs on the basepaths.
