no doubt about it, he is a pure hitter, a tony gwynn type. Something we have needed for ages now and finally have one, lets not ruin this and bench him when A-gon comes back.

Not a chance we can bench him now.

He is becoming my second favorite player on this team.
Sorry Edwin

When Gonzo recovers, I think we might end up shipping both he and either Fogg or Belisle out somewhere for whatever we can get in return.
Kepp has shown enough to warrant a full time starting position.

My only problem with him is that he can't field!!! Now Lark when you say cant field you just mean he is not a jose reyes, barry larkin, or ozzie smith type right? Because he gets the routine ball np and makes some good plays, here and there. Just not spectacular ones. Oh wait I think your talking about EE LOL woops.

The argument that Kepp's D isn't on par with Gonzo's is no longer valid. I was at the game today and Kepp made several difficult throws look easy, IN ADDITION to being a triple away from the cycle. Gonzalez makes excellent trade bait....

His range is very poor and his arm is still of concern. Keppinger, I think, would be solid at 2b, 3b, or ss, but I'm still really not sold on Edwin at third.

I don't think EE is unable to be helped out. If you watch him, his arm is his real problem. It's not like he's got awful instincts or something.
Somebody's just got to tell him to stop throwing sidearm.

Kepp absolutely HAS to play every day. We need to get him 700 plate appearances this year. If we did, i think he would get on base 280 times, minimum (.400 OBP)

When A-Gon returns, EE goes to L-Ville to improve his BA and his trade value.
