I'm a little surprised this guy doesn't get more attention. I was at the game Friday night and watched him pitch two superb innings. I think this guy is probably our most dependable reliever.

I think this guy is probably our most dependable reliever. he has shown tremendous upside and has all of the pitches to be a dependable relief pitcher, but he did have a rough spring training, not saying that means anything, but he could be the next setup man

Yeah, he was throwing some gas. He seemed very confident and was the one pitcher for the reds that could get someone out that night. I hope that he turns into that 8th inning guy again at some point...

Well David Weathers is gettin older and I am not sure if we will give him the money he will want ( or that I suspect he will want ) if Burton shows this all year.
Looking at the bullpen right now
Jermey Affedlt David Weathers
Both have there contracts coming to a end at the end of the year and the Reds might not want to give them the money they will want with Bill Bray and Josh Roenecki coming up to replace them.

Affeldt hasn't impressed me much thus far, but he's certainly a far cry from the guys we were putting on the mound last year, like Stanton. If Affeldt is the pen's biggest weakness, it is already vastly improved.

Burton seems to have his ST woes behind him and has looked like the guy from the 2nd half of last year.
