Only 1 Price was number 2 for the Rays Hmm...I guess it would have to be James Shields than. My other guess would be Scott Kazmer, but I think he got traded somewhat early in his Tampa career. Shields is correct

Reds - Pete Donahue Brewers - Mike Caldwell Giants - Carl Hubbell Padres - Randy Jones Mariners - Randy Johnson Randy Jones is the only one correct. Ouch! I'll give some others a chance and try again tomorrow.

Athletics: Lefty Grove Cubs: Charlie Root Royals: Paul Splittorff [Guessed Splittorff, then looked it up; not a very distinguished pitching tradition.] Tigers: Mickey Lolich White Sox: Billy Pierce Splittorff and Lolich are correct. On further review, Schellis, I think Root is right, and Lolich is wrong. I'm not proud to get the Cubs but not the White Sox...

Splittorff and Lolich are correct. On further review, Schellis, I think Root is right, and Lolich is wrong. I'm not proud to get the Cubs but not the White Sox... Root has innings, but not games started. Lolich is 50 games ahead of the next guy as well. Remember I have the answer key.

Mariners: Jamie Moyer Giants: Christy Mathewson Cubs: Fergie Jenkins White Sox: Ed Walsh A's: Eddie Plank Astros: Mike Scott Plank, Mathewson, Moyer, and Jenkins are all correct, at least for now. Felix Hernandez will have the Mariners top slot by this time next year baring injury.

Randy Jones won the Cy Young Award in 1976 with San Diego. In 315 innings that year he struck out only 93 batters - a K/9 rate of 2.7
<<---That is a crazy stat.

I thought we were talking about wins, so that deals me out; no idea that the pitchers I guessed also started the most games... A lot of times they are both the same person. Though to be fair the first post in this topic did say who has started the most games. Meaning who was the guy they ran out there the most times. Not who won the most or who was the best, even who threw the most innings. the list does have a lot of hall of fame guys on it, but there are a few surprises as well. Like the Redsox all time leader.
