I guess Hopper's lefty splits don't matter much. Well I guess it must be Freel's 1-21 lifetime against Davis that earns him the job. Hopper hasn't faced him so I guess in Dusty's mind, it's better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. Ryan Freel does not belong on the right-handed side of a platoon. So we'll have to see if Dusty's gut beats out the stat sheet today. Humorously, Patterson hits him pretty good too.

I would always prefer to have Griffey in over Freel, but in the past he's always gotten his days off after a night game. I definitely want Hopper over Freel in CF, though. The guy is a fiend on the bases and Freel can't get on. That's been our problem to this point, IMO. Last night when we got guys on good things happened. Credit Kepp for picking us up there.
