The Reds have a lot of young talent that should be in Dayton this year, almost across the board. Now only a few guys seem like potential starters right now, but sometimes you can get suprised.
1. Keltavious Jones, CF (Little guy, but with blazing speed, needs to work on SB and contact more) 2. Devin Mesoraco, C (He might start in extended ST or Billings, but I would prefer him to start in Low A and spend all year there) 3. Neftali Soto, SS/DH/2B/OF (Will likely outgrow SS, but has good offensive potential) 4. Brandon Waring, 3B (Power to spare and he is still going to fill out about another 20-25 lbs, needs to learn to hit opposit field though) 5. Michael McKennon, 1B (Solid all around game after being drafted last year, sleeper to watch) 6. Kyle Maunus, RF (Showed some power tendencies in Billings) 7. Justin Reed, LF (Has some upside, but is pretty raw) 8. Angel Cabrera, 2B (Slick glove at 2B, hit for decent contact last year) 9. Zach Cozart, SS (Hit decently well in college but struggled in Billings/Dayton last year after being drafted, plus glove at SS)
Mesoraco, Soto, Waring, and McKennon are the ones to watch most closely.
As for pitchers, watch for:
Kyle Lotzkar Josh Ravin Scott Carroll Phil valliquette Jeremy Horst Curtis Partch
