This is how the AAA lineup is shaking up to look like. The Bats might be pretty competitive to start this year:
1. Dickerson, CF 2. Griffin, 3B 3. Bruce, RF 4. Rosales, 1B 5. Dorn, LF 6. Gil, 2B 7. Janish, SS 8. Hannigan, C

I do not like Hannigan and actually liked Ryan Jorgenson better. Was there any particuler reason we chose to hold onto Hanigan over Jorgenson?

None that i've heard, albeit neither really projects as much more than an organizational player or a backup.

I don't think it was an IPED, but rather a recreational drug: MLB suspended catcher Ryan Jorgensen 50 games for violating the Drug Prevention and Treatment Program. Well, this explains why he wasn't called up to act as the Reds' third catcher this month. Jorgensen's suspension isn't related to performance-enhancing drugs. He'll miss most of the first two months of 2008.

I'd be suprised if Tatum isn't the opening day catcher in 2009, but he needs a little more time. Unles they open the pocketbook next year for a catcher or trade for one.
