Why on earth would the coach have made Kessel a healthy scratch early in the series?
That's embarrassing!
He scored two unbelievable goals tonight.

Not a big enough fan to intelligently answer your question Lark, but it sure seems silly to me also. From what I read he played really well in game five as well.
Really looking forward to game seven, if it is anything like the game last night it should be fun to watch!

I would argue the other side that had not Kessel been benched those 3 games the Bruins would be done already. The benching has lit a fire under his ass. Claude Julian is one of the greatest motivators I have ever seen. Game 7 tonight ..... prolly won't be on the board much lol but the bruins could use your prayers one more time lol

where ya been jsmith ?? im over the devastating defeat of my bruins looking ahead to the very bright future they have. I'm enjoying just wtaching the playoffs now, you pulling for anyone?? I kinda wanna see Detroit win it again theyre such a nicely run franchise. they always seem to find the right guys to gel together and have a shot every year and with the salary cap u cant say they have any advantage over anyone else. Zetterberg and Flippula are only going to get better and datsyk is just a monster. im still sickened to see the flyers this far lol but i am enjoying watching hossa play on the penguins knowing in 2 monthes he will be wearing a bruins jersey ((crosses fingers)). im gonna take detroit over pitt in 6 for the finals. how bout u?? Lark?? also has any caught any of the world championships going out right now, also some great hockey. Team Canada recently just tipped Team USA 5-4 in OT on a danny heatley hat trick but tim thomas was playing very well for USA before tweaking his groin and Kessel potted a hat trick the other day against Latvia maybe?? Rick Nash has been an absolute beast as well for Canada

Rick Nash has been an absolute beast as well for Canada I hate the Red Wings with a passion. There isn't a professional franchise that I hate more. So, suffice it to say, I'm not rooting for the Wings. I'd love to see Dallas come all the way back on them, but I'm not holding my breath. I suppose, of the teams left, I'm rooting for the Stars. I've got a ton of respect for Mike Modano, Mike Ribiero has been very impressive, and Turco has really earned my respect with his play this postseason. I love their tough defensive style and hope they can come back against the hated Wings. That said, I wouldn't be crushed if Sid the Kid got his first cup. Regardless, should be a good run to the Stanley Cup.

I actually like the Red Wings. Even with the salary cap they are always consitent and put forth a good team. just a great run franchise. As for the pens this is it for them. they mortgaged a good deal this year to make their run this season. if they dont win the cup i see them as a consistent team always near the top but never enough to get over the hump. with huge salaries to sid, malkin, and fleury it will be hard to put forth a complete team. as for the stars, i love turco always have. Ribiero I cannot stand. from his days with montreal, he is the biggest flopper in the NHL and that 04 season where he pretended to have a broken wrist writhing around on the ice in pain to be laughing on the bench 2 min later and not miss a shift was a disgrace. I used to love Modano and I guess i still like him but i lost a little respect for him the year after the lockout. he used a few teams to get more money from dallas which i guess is the name of the game and how to do business but it sucked for teams holding out for him and missing other premier players in the post lockout free agency frnezy. all in all im rooting for the red wings

I'm watching game 5 of the stanley cup playoffs right now while the reds game is on my laptop and its just amazing how much more exciting and fast paced the NHL is compared to all other sports. God I cant wait for the Bruins season to start again already lol
