How many stolen bases would Hamilton have at season's end if he had a league-average OBP? It makes you wonder. I believe he would challenge Ricky's 130 in a season. We will never know though. Cause I doubt he ever gets to league average OBP. Get out of here. Reported.

That has to be one of the most disgusting innings I have ever seen.... considering they just had a 9-1 lead before I blinked.

Leake is trash. He has to have the lead in runs given back.

We'll be extremely lucky to get anything of value for Leake at this point.

We'll be extremely lucky to get anything of value for Leake at this point. I don't know, he had a run of pretty good starts before this one. As long as he's healthy, and this type of start doesn't look like a pattern, I'm not sure how much it can hurt him. If he goes on another jag like the one in May...

These are the days it's fun to have Hamilton on the team. These are the days that give a glimpse of his upside.

Barnhart and Suarez both have roles, in some capacity, on this team in the future.

Barnhart and Suarez both have roles, in some capacity, on this team in the future. The Reds need them to become solid ML bench players at least, offense and defense...

Barnhart's defense and OBP skill should make him at least a backup. The jury is still out on Suarez's defense, but his offensive game should play at short. Like Barnhart, he knows how to take a walk and exerts some control over the strike zone.

I wonder what we could get for Manny Parra at the deadline. There's always a market for capable lefty relievers.

Barnhart looked to have saved the umpire's life more than once during the ninth. Maybe that will pay some dividends down the road...
