All indications are that Gordon will sign for slot money. He told the Diamondbacks he wanted slot if taken in the rd 3-5 range. Maybe he gets $500k since it's less than 7 grand over slot. Gordon will receive a $475K bonus that lands $18,300 shy of the slot value for the 115th pick.

UCF redshirt junior Mitchell Tripp decided to forgo his senior season and sign a professional contract with the Cincinnati Reds on Thursday. The right-handed pitcher was drafted in the 36th round (1,075th overall) of the 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft on June 10.
Tripp spent two seasons with the Knights, but did not make an appearance on the hill due to injuries. The Bellingham, Wash., native did peak interest of professional clubs by touching the mid-90’s during UCF Scout Day on Oct. 21.
“Being a professional ball player is something that I have wanted to do my whole life,” Tripp said. “I am pretty excited about the opportunity that the Cincinnati Reds have given me.”
The Reds took a wait-and-see approach in regards to signing Tripp, who made three appearances with the Winter Park Diamond Dawgs in the Florida Collegiate Summer League before being offered a contract. He recorded a save and posted a 0.00 ERA with three strikeouts in 3.1 innings of work.
Cincinnati has chosen five Knights during the draft – Tripp (36th Rd, 2015), James Vasquez (25th Rd, 2015), Ben Lively (4th Rd, 2013), Rich Lawrence (11th Rd, 1995) and Chad Mottola (1st Rd, 1992).
A total of 27 players have been guided to the professional ranks under the guidance of head coach Terry Rooney since he came to UCF prior to the 2009 campaign. Dylan Moore, who was taken in the seventh round by the Texas Rangers, was the first Knight selected in this year’s draft.
Tripp is set to join former UCF teammate Vasquez on the AZL Reds in a couple of weeks. Vasquez has blasted a pair of homers and driven in seven runs so far in the Arizona League.

If all reported bonuses are correct, the Reds stand 42,850$ below their total pool.
If the Reds sign any of their remaining uninked draftees for more than 100,000$ - the overage counts against their pool.
It is highly unlikely they go over their pool since they are given an equal share of the total overages by other teams.

Doesn't seem like as many teams go over add they did that first year though, but I could be wrong about that. Just seems that way to me.

Last year the Reds spent 15,000$ less than their total pool and received 297,435$ (their share of the total overage). Teams that receive revenue sharing money and do not exceed their bonus pools receive an equal amount of the tax money - last year nine teams qualified (eight of which were under their pool by less than the money they received)..

If I'm the Dodgers, I'd consider not signing either Buehler or Funkhouser. I don't think either are more than relievers and they'd get 2 good picks in next year's draft. They'll get them signed, but I'm glad the Reds stayed clear of those two, both of which were considered top ten picks at one point.

During his final CWS start, Walker Buehler looked better than I'd ever seen him look. His fastball was mid 90s and his breaking ball was sharp. I, similarly, wanted the Reds to avoid him, but at least I finally saw the higher performance level that supported him being drafted in the first round.

Huh, crazy, didn't see that one coming, that's probably why it took so long to get a deal done: CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that Dodgers pitching prospect Walker Buehler needs Tommy John surgery. The No. 24 overall pick in this year's draft, Buehler just agreed to terms with the Dodgers on Friday. His $1.7 million bonus was significantly below the recommended slot value of $2.0944 million, but considering the surgery revelation, he was lucky to get that much. Buehler might not pitch competitively again until 2017. Jul 17 - 6:00 PM Source: Jon Heyman on Twitter

We signed four high schoolers ranked in the top 401 by BA for 100k. The rest of Major League Baseball combined signed 7. And I'm assuming that Justin Marsden, Sixto Torres, Jio Orozco, Ryan McKay, and Kyle Zimmerman all signed for 100k despite the fact that their bonuses haven't been announced and that their teams had spare money left in the slot pool. Really, the only guys that I know who signed for 100k are Curtis Terry and Jaret Hellinger. Oh, and of course Darren Shred, Alexis Diaz, Alejo Lopez, and J.D. Salmon Williams. The BA 500 isn't perfect, but, I mean, c'mon. That is mind boggling. That is awesome.
