Good to see what Lorenzen is capable of even if the opposition had no notes on him.

Carlos Contreras was pulled from his start in Pensacola tonight after only 1 2/3rds innings, no idea why as of yet. He wasn't mowing them down but it's still strange to see someone pulled so early - have to assume injury.

He wasn't mowing them down but it's still strange to see someone pulled so early - have to assume injury. According to hook line and sinker, a Blue Wahoos blog, he appeared to injure something in his back covering first base. Supposedly he was trying his best to convince the trainers he was alright, so hopefully it is just a precaution. Jesse Winker also left the Blaze game after colliding with the wall making a catch. So hopefully both will be alright and back in action sooner rather than later

Tonight in Louisville - 7 Reds pitchers allowed 30 baserunners (20 H's and 10 BB's) through 8 innings on the way to a 17-5 defeat!
Chad Rogers prospect status continues to drop (first converted to a reliever and now playing like shat)!
